BALKANS WITH THE GREEK ISLANDS AND ISTANBUL

Day 1: (Wednesday) BOGOTA - DUBROVNIK

Departure from your city of origin to Dubrovnik. Overnight on board.

Day 3 (Friday) DUBROVNIK

Breakfast. Free time at leisure. Our guide will contact you at the end of the day. Dinner. Lodging.

Day 4: (Saturday) DUBROVNIK

In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of Dubrovnik with a local guide. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: perched on a rock, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea, its intact historic center is a jewel of world architectural heritage. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a great view of the city from a viewpoint on the road. The tour includes admission to the Franciscan Monastery, which houses the oldest pharmacy in Europe, and Dubrovnik Cathedral. We also include a boat trip to Lokrum, a small island 15 minutes by boat from Dubrovnik, which is home to the ruins of an 11th-century Benedictine monastery, a popular setting for the series "Game of Thrones." Free afternoon. Return to our hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner included.

Note: On some departures, accommodation may be provided in Cavtat, a coastal town near the city.

Note: During the winter months, from November to March, there is no boat service to Lokrum, and therefore the island will not be visited.

Day 5 (Sunday) DUBROVNIK - KOTOR - BUDVA - TIRANA

Early departure to Montenegro. Border formalities. The coastal scenery and the bay of Kotor are beautiful. We take a ferry across the bay. Kotor, arrival and time to stroll in this beautiful walled city of strong Venetian influence. Afterwards we stop in Budva, a wonderful walled town surrounded by the sea, time for lunch. We then travel to Albania. Border formalities, arrival in the capital Tirana. Free time at leisure. Dinner included.

Day 6: (Monday) TIRANA - STRUGA - OHRID

Panoramic tour of TIRANA, the capital of Albania, with its mosques, the clock tower, the ministries. Around 12:00 hrs we will leave towards the interior of Albania. High mountains with small villages on our way. Very beautiful scenery along the Ohrid Lake that forms the border with Macedonia. We pass into the Republic of Macedonia (border formalities). Time for lunch in Struga, picturesque lakeside town. Continue to Ohrid, a city of strong Ottoman influence, World Heritage Site, on the shores of a beautiful lake. You can stroll through this pleasant city and visit the Plaosnik Monastery or its ancient university founded in the ninth century. Dinner included and overnight.

Day 7: (Tuesday) OHRID - BITOLA - KALAMBAKA

We travel through Macedonia towards Greece. We will stop in Bitola, a city with a rich historical heritage and a charming atmosphere, known for its Ottoman and neoclassical architecture. You will have time to stroll around Širok Sokak, an area full of cafes, restaurants and stores. After border formalities, we will enter Greece. The north of the country has a strong Slavic and Ottoman influence and a very rugged geography. We will continue to the Meteoras region. On the outskirts of Kalambaka, we will stop in Kastraki, a picturesque village with beautiful views of the entire valley, where we will have time for lunch before visiting the impressive Meteoras Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will tour the entire valley and include entrance to one of the most famous rock-hung monasteries. Arrival in Kalambaka, dinner included.

Day 8: (Wednesday) KALAMBAKA - DELPHOS - ATHENS

We travel south through Thessaly. Among very beautiful landscapes we arrive at Delphi. We include the entrance to the beautiful archaeological site overlooking the gulf of Corinth with incredible landscapes, time for lunch. After that we travel to the Osios Loukas Monastery, one of the most beautiful Byzantine monasteries in Greece, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Surprising its magnificent mosaics of the eleventh century. Continuation to Athens. Arrival in the late afternoon.

Day 9: (Thursday) ATHENS

Panoramic tour of Athens where we know the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the National Library, the bustling squares of the center, the new neighborhoods that emerged with the 2004 Olympics. We end at the Acropolis site (entrance fee not included). In the evening, we will make a transfer to the Plaka area, a place full of small Greek taverns where you can also enjoy the rich folklore of this country.

Day 10: (Friday) ATHENS

After breakfast, free time to enjoy this spectacular city and its cuisine.

Head to the port of Piraeus/Athens. Boarding and accommodation in cabins. Time to enjoy your first dinner on board and the ship's evening entertainment.

Departure at 11:00 p.m.

Day 11: (Saturday) SAILING – DARDANELLES STRAIT

A day at sea to enjoy the ship's facilities, participate in onboard activities, or simply relax on deck.

Crossing the Dardanelles Strait between 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., a legendary passage connecting the Aegean Sea with the Sea of Marmara.

Day 12: (Sunday) ISTANBUL

Arrival in Istanbul at 07:00 hrs.

Full day in this city that bridges East and West. Optional: visit to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, or cruise on the Bosphorus.

Departure at 6:00 p.m.

Day 13: (Monday) MYKONOS

Arrival in Mykonos at 3:00 p.m.

Free time to explore its picturesque streets lined with white houses, windmills, and cafés facing the sea.

Departure at 11:00 p.m. with navigation through Mykonos Bay between 11:15 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.

Day 14: (Tuesday) HERAKLION (CRETE)

Arrival on the island of Crete at 09:00 hrs.

Optional: excursion to Knossos Palace, cradle of Minoan civilization, or enjoy the port city of Heraklion.

Departure at 7:00 p.m.

Day 15: (Wednesday) RODAS

Arrival on the island of Rhodes at 07:00 hrs.

Free time to explore the Medieval Town, declared a World Heritage Site, or take excursions to Lindos and its Acropolis.

Departure at 6:00 p.m.

Day 16: (Thursday) SANTORINI

Arrival in Santorini at 08:00 hrs.

Discover the villages of Oia and Fira, with their famous white houses and blue domes, or admire their unique volcanic landscapes.

Departure at 6:30 p.m.

Special "Endless Sunset" cruise between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Día 17º: (Viernes) ATENAS – BOGOTÁ

Llegada: 7:00 AM al puerto del Pireo. Desembarque y fin de esta inolvidable travesía para luego tomar vuelo con destino Bogotá.
